Build an Electrician Reviews Machine (How to Get 5 Star Google Reviews)
Lets say your microwave just heaved its last breath, and you're on Amazon trying to buy a new one before your kids pester you one more time about how they can't make pizza pockets anymore.
You're not going to buy the most expensive, aesthetically pleasing, or feature rich microwave oven you see. Neither are you going to vest all your trust in the descriptions or other information on the page written by the company.
You're smarter than that.
You're going to find the appliance with the highest ratings from people who already tried it out. You're probably going to read a couple customer testimonies too before you order because you don't want to do this all again in a few months. You want something that works, and the only way you can know what does is by reading reviews from consumers like you.
It's important to think of the way you do your online shopping when you're advertising your electrical business.
Like you searching for the perfect microwave, the homeowner in need of some line repairs might be pulled in by the design of your website. They might be attracted to your content and the sleek photos you use. Yet, it's the words from locals like them that are going to really convince them to utilize your services ahead of anyone else's.
It's also important to note that just as Amazon puts products with the most positive and numerous reviews at the top of the search results, Google puts the best and most often reviewed businesses right in front of the eyes of your next customer.
If you want to harness the power of 5-star electrician reviews for your own electrical services, go right ahead reading.
After that, feel free to…

How Do I Get The Best Electrician Reviews In Town?
Our team uses 3 strategies to help your business get the reviews it needs, but all of them involve one tiny principle: getting the direct link to your Google reviews page to the customers who've seen the good work your business does.
You may think it's enough to just ask your customers to leave a review, but most people don't actually know how to do that, and don't have the time or patience to figure it out. In essence, they're not gonna do it.
For something like this where there is no reward for the customer, you have to make it ridiculously easy. The key is to make sure these people have a link directly to the "leave a review" page on Google, and finding that link can be summed up in 4 easy steps.
4 Steps to Google Reviews for Electricians
Step 1: Search for and locate your business on Google.
Step 2: click on your rating.
Step 3: click on the "write a review" page, then copy that address. It might ask you to sign in and confirm a couple of user agreements if you haven't already done so.
Step 4: Finally, paste that address into an email to yourself: a word doc, or anywhere else you like. The point is that you can find it later without doing all that again.
Now What Do I Do With It?
The first tactic is the most complex, because it involves just a bit of editing on your website. A simple "Leave A Review" button that links right to the address you just found is easy for you or your web designer to create, and it makes rating your business right from your homepage a seamless process for your customers. If you can add a short guide on how to find that button to your business card, this method will be twice as effective.
The other methods we like to use are a lot Simpler. When you finish a job and you know it went well, send the customer an email thanking them for their business. At the end, ask them to please leave a review at the following link, then paste your link and hit send.
Finally, send your customer a text message asking them to leave a positive review if they're satisfied. This method is super useful if your customer is not close to their computer and would like to submit feedback directly from their phone. Once again, paste your link, and you're good to go.
Now You Know - Promote Your Electrician Business
Now that you know how valuable reviews are to potential customers, how to find the link to the review page, and how to make it fast and easy for people to rate your business, you can begin to use the power of reviews to promote your services, and get your company on the first page of search results.
Of course, not every business card, email, or text message is going to result in a five-star review. Some people are busy, some people don't know good work from bad, and some people just don't feel like it. Yet, these tactics do make things easier for your customers, and that means they will help you.
